Antipodes Travel is made up of a panoply of dedicated team members, each with different roles (Agents, Admin, Boss, Boss’ Boss…) and their own unique background.
Our guiding light and head chef without the tall hat, Sandrine comes from Haute-Savoie (French Alps) and has lived in New Zealand since 2002. A French/Swiss and now Kiwi citizen, she founded Antipodes Travel in 2004 with her partner in crime and loves sharing her passion for Oceania.
CécileCecile has been part of the team since 2013 and works primarily with our groups. Hailing from Paris originally, her path to NZ and her family life now came via the UK, where she was an airline hostess for Japan Airlines, and Zimbabwe, where she worked in a travel agency. Though she likes to remain behind the scenes most of the time, she’s one of our shining stars and keeps groups running like clockwork.
There’s a saying in our office ‘What would we do without Janet?’, and this is the woman we owe it to. Her innate business sense and experience have helped guide us on more than one occasion, and her knowledge of New Zealand (her place of birth) and love for France cemented her place within the team.
Jutta Korte-FoucheOur accounts genius and much-loved South African, Jutta joined the Antipodes team in 2019. She speaks fluent German but, alas, not much French. We’re working on that one, however, and soon she’ll be fully fluent… watch this space!
Yoann FeilletThe other half of the dream team, Yoann, comes from Brittany and has also lived in NZ since 2002. Our resident photography expert, he has studied biology and video media before exploring Oceania. He loves orienteering – and his daughters, of course! Graced with Tahitian and Normand roots, Ingrid came to New Zealand after a number of years working in China. She holds a DESS in Applied Foreign Languages (English, Spanish, Mandarin), and has 6 years’ experience overseas as a buyer. She could probably sell tiny boots to mice if she tried – no lies!
Christnah ArthusOriginally from Martinique in the Caribbean, Chris is one of our out of office anomalies. After graduating with a degree in Chemistry, he discovered a passion for tourism and changed tack, earning a Tourism Degree, before finally landing in Australia where he lives and works today. Though he’s across the ocean he’s made himself into an integral part of the team with a huge smile and a gift for making us laugh, too.
MaudOriginally from Paris, Maud arrived in NZ in 2014 and found her way to Antipodes in 2019. Currently living in Christchurch with her Kiwi partner, she’s our digital marking expert with ten years’ experience in the domain, and an occasional boots on the ground guide.
